The Barrie Lakeshore Phase 1 project is the first building of four to be constructed as part of the overall Barrie Waterfront Development, which is currently the city of Barrie’s largest ever residential development.
At 25-storeys, Phase 1 consists of a 7-storey Marriott Hotel and 18 additional storeys of residential rental apartments. This development faces the lakeshore and the more commercial Bradford Street.
It will intensify and transform the area into an accessible, highly connected and pedestrian-friendly environment that will both preserve and enhance the valuable natural elements of the area, including Bunker’s Creek and Lakeshore Drive.
